Elle Fanning goes on a date with her father make-up-free while wearing ow maintenance style in vest top and jean shorts

She rocked a dainty sundress when she headed out to lunch with her mother, Heather Joy, on Wednesday.

But it looked as though Elle Fanning was in the mood for a more low-key style when she hit a sushi restaurant with her father Steven in Los Angeles on Thursday. 

The 17-year-old actress rocked a slightly disheveled look as she grabbed a bite at a sushi restaurant in the city.

The Maleficent star sported a blue and white striped sleeveless T-shirt, which she teamed with denim shorts and white trainers.

Injecting the look with a touch of opulence, she also rocked a Louis Vuitton handbag.  

Elle, who is the younger sister of War of the Worlds actress Dakota, looked as though she had decided against brushing her blonde locks as she left them to fall in a matted, unkempt style around her face.
