Tomorrow Vivo should finally make the much-teased X5 Max smartphone official. But it turns out that's not the only handset that could get unveiled in mere hours. TENAA, the Chinese equivalent of the FCC, has certified a Vivo X5F for sale in the country. And this looks like it's essentially going to be a cheaper, smaller, and thicker version of the X5 Max. The Vivo X5 Max will almost certainly become the world's thinnest smartphone, with a profile that's been rumored to be as slim as 3.75mm. On the other hand, the X5F is likely to keep the same overall design, but it will be 6.3mm thick according to TENAA's documentation. It will also sport a 5-inch 720p touchscreen, a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, and a 5 MP front-facing snapper. At the helm will be a 1.5 GHz octa-core CPU, aided by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, expandable through the use of microSD cards. Source (in Chinese) | Via 1 (in Romanian) • Via...
