Manchester United striker Ashley Young finally marries Nicky Pik after calling off wedding 4 years ago with just two days to go

Young's former Aston Villa team-mate and cancer survivor Stiliyan Petrov was in attendance as was Fabrice Muamba, who famously suffered a cardiac arrest during a match while playing for Bolton in 2012.

Petrov, who retired from the game in 2013 due to his ongoing battle with leukaemia, took to Twitter to share a picture with the happy couple and wrote: 'Congratulations Mr and Mrs Young.

Former Bolton midfielder Muamba, who would have played with Young for England Under 21s, was also active on social media and shared a picture alongside Petrov, writing: 'Champion on the dance floor @StanPetrov19.'
