Griezmann had a spectacular debut season following his move from Real Sociedad last summer and a number of European giants, including Bayern Munich and Chelsea, were believed to be on his trail.


According to AS, the duration of Griezmann’s deal has not been altered – he is still under contract until 2020 – but his buyout clause, which was previously set at €65m (£46.1m), has been raised.
