She revealed this week that her father is battling stage four cancer.
And Vanessa Hudgens, 26, put a brave face on her troubles as she shopped for groceries on Friday in Studio City, California. 

The actress covered her eyes in dark glasses as she stepped out in fashionable overalls. 
She's still sporting a blue cast on her right hand after injuring her finger in London earlier this month. 
The star seemed to have a friend in tow, as she flashed her toned figure in the cutaway denims over a cropped top, which she teamed with cute brown leather flats.  
The High School Musical star revealed the sad news about her father while accepting an award at the 2015 Industry Dance Awards in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
