Elizabeth Banks arrives at Venice Film Festival in printed jumpsuit

And stunning actress Elizabeth Banks sure looked ready for a day in the sun as she arrived in Venice, Italy on Tuesday. 

The actress, 43, looked incredible in a blue and white jumpsuit, which she teamed with a straw fedora and sunglasses.

She wore a pair of tan sandals and added a slick of colour to her ensemble with ruby red lisptick.  

The mother-of-two has had an amazing year so far, with her directorial debut Pitch Perfect 2 breaking the opening weekend records for a first time director, grossing $69million.

Elizabeth arrived in Venice on Tuesday afternoon, where she will take part as a  member of the Jury for the Main Competition at the 2015 film festival.

The 72nd Venice Film Festival runs from 2-12 September, and this year is set to be something of a watershed edition of the world's oldest film festival.

Amid the usual mix of big-budget Hollywood productions and more cerebral offerings from international auteurs, this year's event breaks new ground with the first major feature film to be produced in-house by Netflix among 21 works competing for the festival's top prize, the Golden Lion.
