Reports in German newspaper BILD suggest Manchester United have had a bid in the region on £15million accepted for the World Cup winner and the 30-year-old will sign a three-year deal at Old Trafford.
Schweinsteiger and Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge met on Friday to discuss a contract, ahead of their squad presentation at the Allianz Arena on Saturday, however, Schweinsteiger is not expected to be present.
